Teaching of Thabarwa Sayadaw Ashin Ottamasara 2018-2007

This is a selection of teachings delivered by Sayadaw Ashin Ottamathara over the course of a dozen years. While some of these teachings are now more than ten years old, we still consider them as precious gems that ought to be shared with all.

Currently many new Thabarwa Centers are in development throughout the world, in Malaysia, the United States, Italy, Germany, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand and Japan. More centers are due to be opened in the future as well.

Sayadaw's teaching is on non-self. The relevance of its message cuts through time and place. He teaches through his words, his actions, and his centers. He explain, "I don't write my teaching in books. My book is my center. My center are my teaching".

All are welcome in any Thabarwa Center to learn about non-self, good deeds without limits, and mindfulness and detachment, not only in theory but only practically!

This book is the result of combined efforts, with great help from Aloka for her skills in editing the English without altering the essence of the teaching, which is beyond grammatical rules.

Any mistakes in the text are on the part of our editing team and not from Sayadaw. In line with Sayadaw's style, we advise readers not to analyze the words here intellectually. They are to read-only, to listen-only, to practice-only, and to use in the right way: with mindfulness and detachment.
